Land Management Programme - LAMP
Land Management Programme (LAMP) is a broad program, concerned with bringing land management down to earth, together with the people who depend on the land. In total over 1,000,000 persons in over 300 villages have been targeted by the program . LAMP is implemented by LGAs and Lower level Local government authorities.
The Prime Minister's Office Regional Administration and Local Government coordinate the program with Technical Assistance support from ORGUT Consulting from Sweden. The Program was funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
Best Practices for District Councils
On this site PMO-RALG has collected thirteen Best Practices from the Land Management Program (LAMP (3)) 1991-2010. They have been selected among over 200 different activities in the Program.
